About Me
I teach Turn Up Dance Fitness because I’m passionate about creating spaces where women feel empowered, celebrated, and confident in their bodies. My classes are high-energy, community-driven, and all about embracing joy through movement. While everyone is welcome, my classes are designed with women in mind—centering empowerment, self-expression, and genuine connection.
My Journey
I’ve been part of the fitness community for over 15 years, and after discovering the power of Turn Up firsthand, I became an instructor in 2021. Turn Up allowed me to combine my love of working out with the freedom of dance, and it opened the door to intuitive movement—a way to express myself without limits or judgment. In addition to Turn Up, I’m a certified Intuitive Yoga Instructor, blending mindfulness and movement to help women reconnect with their strength, sensuality, and authenticity. Every class I teach is a safe, supportive space where women can move in ways that feel natural and empowering.
Beyond the Studio
Outside of teaching, I run The Awakened Goddess, where I offer self-love coaching and photography. My classes and my business are deeply connected—they both celebrate women, build confidence, and remind every woman of her unique magic. Whether I’m behind the camera or on the dance floor, my mission is the same: to help women feel seen, powerful, and beautiful in their own skin.

My Fitness Journey
I discovered my passion for teaching fitness at age 50, earning my certification as a group fitness instructor and quickly expanding my expertise to include yoga, Pilates, and step aerobics. Over the years, I’ve led a wide range of classes and developed a reputation for creating fun, energetic, and inclusive workouts that keep participants motivated and coming back for more.
My Passion for Yoga
While I love all forms of movement, yoga has always been my deepest passion. My mission as an instructor is to help students find true inner peace and connection through mindful breathwork (pranayama) and purposeful movement (asanas).
My classes are designed to be welcoming, adaptable, and empowering—honoring every individual’s body, experience level, and physical limitations. With thoughtful modifications and supportive props, I help each student feel confident, successful, and deeply connected to their practice.

My Yoga Journey
I’ve been passionate about fitness my entire life—but my true transformation began after surviving cancer for the second time. Chemotherapy and radiation left my body weak and depleted, so I turned to gentle yoga to rebuild my strength. With each class, I felt my body heal, my energy return, and my spirit grow calmer. Yoga helped me find balance, resilience, and peace —and inspired me to share that gift with others.
My Teaching Philosophy
As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, I’ve taught over 800 hours of classes designed to meet students exactly where they are. My sessions blend gentle, dynamic sequencing with mindful alignment and breathwork to help every student feel strong, grounded, and supported.
No two classes are ever the same. Each experience is thoughtfully crafted to match the needs and energy of the students in the room. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, my goal is to create a welcoming environment that encourages growth—inside and out.
